What lounge facilities are available at Albany Airport?

Albany International Airport offers a Military Courtesy Room for eligible military travelers and a Business Center in Concourse C. A general paid passenger lounge is not currently listed among ALB's facilities, and American Airlines lists clubs and lounges as unavailable at this airport. Check that the airport and terminal on any lounge pass match your itinerary before buying.

Choose a place to wait that suits your journey. Check the Business Center when you need to work, ask about the Courtesy Room if you are an eligible military traveler, or visit the Sensory Room when you need a calmer setting away from the activity of the terminal.

Captain John J. McKenna IV Military Courtesy Room

The airport describes the Military Courtesy Room as a place for traveling military personnel to rest while awaiting flights. It is staffed by volunteers and offers refreshments and communications facilities. Its own website places it on the third-floor Observation Deck and publishes hours of 10am–6pm, seven days a week. Telephone +1 518-242-4415 to confirm access and opening arrangements for your journey.

Entry is for eligible military travelers; contact the room with questions about who can use it. Allow time to reach your gate and complete any required security screening after a visit.

Business Center

The Business Center is on the second level of Concourse C. Use the terminal map and signs to locate it when you arrive, and check your gate before deciding where to settle down.

Keep an eye on your airline's notifications while working and leave time to pack up before boarding. Contact the airport in advance if you need particular equipment, a meeting space or assistance, so you can arrange a suitable place to work.

Quieter spaces and family facilities

The airport's Sensory Room is on the first floor of Concourse B, next to the Adirondack Imaginarium children's play area. The airport describes it as a calmer environment for travelers who need a break from the activity of the terminal. It is a passenger support space, so it should be used with consideration for people who need that setting.

The airport amenities directory also lists an Interfaith Prayer Room, pet-relief facilities and the children's play area. Consult the airport's own information and map for access and current locations. Choose the facility appropriate to your needs and keep enough time for the rest of the departure process.

Lounge access on a connecting itinerary

If your journey connects through another airport, any lounge booking must match that airport, the terminal you can reach, the date and the allowed entry time. Check the access requirements before paying. Some facilities require an eligible boarding pass, membership, fare or prebooked entry, and a terminal change may involve additional screening.

A lounge in a nearby hotel is also separate from a terminal lounge. For example, Marriott Albany advertises a Club Lounge for qualifying hotel guests. It is part of the hotel on Wolf Road, so it does not provide an airside waiting facility at ALB.

Plan parking before your time in the terminal

Finish parking and your transfer before the time you plan to spend in the terminal. If you hope to visit the Military Courtesy Room or another facility before departure, build that visit into your schedule after allowing for check-in, security and the walk to your gate.

Lounge questions

Who can use the Military Courtesy Room? It serves eligible military travelers. Contact the room's operator with eligibility questions before your visit.

Is there a standard lounge pass for ALB? ALB does not currently list a general paid passenger lounge. Check the airport and terminal shown on a pass, particularly when booking for a connection.

Is the hotel Club Lounge inside Albany Airport? No. A nearby hotel's lounge belongs to that hotel and follows its guest-access rules.

Traveling onward through another airport? Search the lounge options for that airport and the terminal on your itinerary. Check eligibility, opening hours and entry conditions before paying. This search is for your connection or onward journey; no general paid lounge at ALB is advertised here.
