Start with the address on your parking confirmation
Driving to Albany Airport and driving to a reserved parking facility are different journeys. The passenger terminal uses the Albany Shaker Road address below; the three featured parking facilities have their own addresses. Choose the correct destination before leaving home so that you can register, park and complete the terminal transfer in the right order.
Use the full property name and street address together. Hotels near an airport can have similar names, and the word “airport” does not establish the entrance you need. Check that the map destination matches the reservation, then follow the property's instructions for the parking check-in point.

Allow for the final approach
ALB is reached from the Capital Region road network, with connections to I-87 and I-90. Use live navigation for traffic conditions and the current route to your selected destination. Near the airport, follow current road signs and traffic staff rather than relying on an old screenshot of a junction or entrance.
Allow time after reaching the property to register the vehicle, unload and wait for a transfer. The airport recommends arriving at least two hours before departure; a private-lot arrival should be earlier still. A map's driving estimate does not include parking check-in, shuttle waiting or the walk to your airline desk.
Check current airport travel notices and construction guidance before departure.
Plan the route for everyone traveling
If anyone needs step-free access or a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, confirm the entire transfer before reserving. Accessible parking spaces do not automatically mean that a particular shuttle accommodates a wheelchair. Albany Airport Inn's current listing specifically distinguishes accessible spaces from its non-accessible shuttle; ask the other providers about the exact vehicle and assistance available for your booking.
For a larger group, check luggage capacity and whether everyone can travel together. If one driver will drop passengers at the terminal before parking, agree the meeting plan and account for the additional drive. Use only signed loading areas, keep the vehicle attended and follow airport staff directions.
Save the route back to your car
Before departure, save the parking address, confirmation and return pickup instructions offline. After landing, follow the supplier's instructions about collecting baggage and requesting the vehicle. Shuttle meeting points can change during construction, so check the latest directions instead of assuming the departure drop-off point is also the return pickup point.
Baymont's current parking offer requires you to arrange terminal transport. For the other facilities, confirm shuttle hours and what happens after a delayed flight. Inside the airport, use the official interactive terminal map to find baggage claim and the appropriate exit.
